Synthos Technologies Returns to AFCEA Defense Cyber Ops Summit

Reston, VA – Synthos Technologies, a division of Qbase, LLC, today announced that it has agreed to again sponsor the Armed Forces Communications and Electronics Association’s annual Defense Cyber-Ops Symposium.

AFCEA is an international organization providing a forum for the ethical exchange of information.  It focuses on issues relevant to its members in the areas of: information technology, communications, and electronics for the defense, homeland security and intelligence communities. Its vision is to be the premier information technology, communications, and electronics association for professionals in international government, industry and academia worldwide.

Its Defense Cyber-Ops Symposium gathers representatives from the U.S. Department of Defense’s Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), U.S. Cyber Command, Military Services, the Intelligence Community, government offices and agencies, industry and academia for three days of discussion on a variety of cybersecurity-related topics.

This year’s AFCEA Defense Cyber-Ops Symposium will occur May 5-7 in Baltimore, MD. At its booth, Synthos Technologies will demo its MetaCarta geographic discovery solution, its entity extraction and disambiguation technology, as well as its end-to-end business intelligence application designed to ingest massive amounts of streaming, unstructured text and provide an analytic canvas in which users can work with the data.
